Presidenta, Catalan Society of Technology
Professor of Metallurgy at UPC-Terrassa (ESEIAAT), she is also Assistant Director of Promotion and Student Affairs. Her areas of expertise, in materials, are Stainless Steels, Carbide and Advanced Coatings. She is the author of several texts in Materials Science and Engineering. She has translated the latest edition of William D. Callister’s reference book and is a member of several platforms and networks for teaching innovation. An area of research and dissemination in which she is especially active is that of giving visibility to STEAM female profiles from all times and places, with which she pursues the consolidation of models and references for the new generations to encourage vocations in technological studies. She has presented, for four seasons, the first television program about women inventors, “L’enginy (in)visible”), in Fibracat-TV.
