He has been in the industrial world for 44 years and has been implementing 3D technologies in the companies where he has worked since 1990. The first 3D printing was done in 1996 with stereolithography and in 2002 he was already doing the first 3D printing in metal in a joint project with ASCAMM, for injection mold punches, where he optimized the cooling. He still keeps a batch of plastic parts obtained with this mold in his office. In 2005, 18 years ago, he founded AsorCAD, together with a partner, and started working with optical technologies in 3D scanning. In 2006, they became the distributor of Creaform 3D scanners and Geomagic software. They are now experts in 3D scanning and its different applications, reverse engineering, metrology and 3D printing mainly. With a vast experience of nearly 4,000 advanced engineering projects and close to 400 successful 3D technology installations in Spain.
