Quality control – 3D Laser Scanner

Description

At R&G Metal Shaping, our 3D Scanning service is carried out by a team of highly qualified experts using state-of-the-art equipment, which allows us to guarantee the quality of our products and offer a highly accurate service to our customers.

This system is accompanied by two software modules:

– 3D metrology module: uses the point cloud or mesh obtained in a 3D scan to compare it against a CAD design or other master model and to be able to issue a verification report of 100% of the dimensions.

– Reverse engineering module: a process that consists of designing CAD geometry based on the mesh or point cloud obtained from a 3D scan with a three-dimensional scanner that allows us to convert it into a 2D or 3D CAD design for the preparation of plans.
