Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona’s launch is a great success, with 90% of the floor plan already booked.

  • With seven months to go until the event, only 24 spaces are still available
  • 119 exhibitors have already confirmed their presence at Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona

The first edition of MetalBarcelona and Robomática Barcelona – Part of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona will take place on 13 and 14 September in Hall 1 of Fira (Gran Vía exhibition centre). For two days, Barcelona will become the meeting point for industrial innovation, robotics and automation, thanks to the presence of more than 200 market-leading exhibiting companies. Yaskawa, a benchmark brand in the industrial automation sector, will be the Gold Sponsor of the event.

Only five months after its announcement, the floor plan of Advanced Manufacturing in Barcelona is already 90% occupied, which has led to work being done on an extension of the floor plan to accommodate all the companies in the industrial sector that want to be present at this first edition.

After 15 years in Madrid, the reception of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona among companies and professionals in the sector has been unbeatable:

“We visited the last edition of Advanced Manufacturing in Madrid and it was very profitable. Of course, we will also visit this new edition of Advanced Manufacturing in Barcelona”, says Rafael Ureña, Manager of Talleres Ureña.

“We have been participating in Metal Madrid for several years and we believe that this new edition of Advanced Manufacturing in Barcelona will be a good opportunity to make ourselves known and get new customers from the area of Catalonia”, says Javier Sanz Naval, CEO of INFINITIA Industrial Consulting.

Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona will bring together at MetalBarcelona all the latest developments in machine tools, supplies, advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing, machining and metal processing, quality control and surface treatment, from the key players in the industrial sector: Bossard, Emka, Mecanus, MicroStep, Pferd Ruggeberg, Soldaman, Lasertek, FAT, Izar Cutting Tools, VLB Group, Abus Gruas, Aceros IMS, Aujor, Montcada, Messer Ibérica, Nolerem, Remaches Tudela or Fronius, among many others.

On the other hand, Robomática Barcelona will bring together the leading brands in factory automation and control systems, software for product development, robots, grippers, microchips and the latest solutions for transforming and digitising production processes with the latest technology. Among the exhibitors already confirmed are Quero Automation, Murrelektronik, Tecnitem, Vahle, ARM Robotics, VCM, Itowa, Grupo Gomur, CRC Industries and Wera Tools Iberica.

“The fantastic reception of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona, for which we are very grateful, confirms the need for an event like ours in Catalonia, a region with a booming industrial market. We are convinced that this launch will be a great success, both for our exhibitors and our visitors” Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia.

In addition to the latest innovations in the 7,200 m2 exhibition area, Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona will offer visitors an extensive programme of specialised content at its Tech Congress 4.0 during the two days of the event, which is free of charge for professionals. New trends in the sector, such as additive manufacturing, energy sustainability, the circular economy and the digitisation of factories, machines and industrial processes, will be the central themes of the conferences and round tables offered by professional industry experts.

Our visitors’ favourite activities will also be on offer at this first edition in Barcelona. The Innovation Tours, organised into different themes, will be back for another year as a showcase for the most cutting-edge products at the event. In addition, we will continue to showcase our exhibitors’ machinery, with the Live! Demo Machinery, a tour that will come to life thanks to our exhibitors’ machines in operation.

“The live demonstrations are impressive, it’s incredible to see so much machinery in motion. A 100% worthwhile visit. David Cazorla, Head of Locksmithing, INSTORE.
